Earlier this year, CaSP applied for and received funds from Research!America to organize a bipartisan civic engagement speaking event and science policy bootcamp (more details to come). Research!America is an organization committed to advocating for health and medical research. CaSP is grateful for these funds and to our members who are organizing this event. We look forward to future public engagement through this proposed initiative. We also look forward to the opportunity to provide early career scientists with a tool kit to translate their research into a language policymakers and the public can understand.
