On Wednesday December 05, 2018, CaSP has the honor of hosting a presentation by Dominique Brossard, professor and chair in the Life Sciences Communication department at UW-Madison. She will be speaking about her research, which studies the interplay of science, media, and policy. The event will be held in 2131 Biochemistry Building from 3:00 PM. Prof. Brossard is a professor and the department chair of the Life Sciences Communication department at UW-Madison. She is also affiliated with UW-Madison Robert & Jean Holtz Center for Science and Technology Studies, the UW-Madison Center for Global Studies, the Morgridge Institute for Research, and is a AAAS fellow. She is the co-director of the Science, Media and the Public (SCIMEP) research group and is considered a world expert in public opinion of scientific issues.
